Roaring Stories

Balmain’s independent bookshop. Formerly Brays Books, was first opened 1969. Dan Jordon and Claire Gorman purchased the business and undertook a complete store re-design and refurbishment and commenced trading in 2019 under the new brand, Roaring Stories. Roaring Stories is focused on providing its customers with a broad range of curated titles to meet the interests of our local community, supported by a passionate and knowledgeable team of experienced booksellers.
